The slate call is extremely nice and even a poor caller like me can produce a nice sound. Very quick service and good communication about the order. Workmanship is excellent and price is very reasonable. Thinking about buying the aluminum call.

02 May 2009: I hunted w/ Steve Tomlinson today who already tagged out this season using this call, is the only member of his hunt club to kill a bird this season period and I personally watched him call in two birds for me today, which by the way was my first time ever hunting turkey. Like Steve told me today, 97% of killing a bird is doing your homework, scouting your hunt area and calling in the bird. Unfortunately I couldn't fulfill my 3% of the work due to poor fields of fire and the damn turkey being so smart, but I sat there and witnessed Steve do it twice. Like Steve said, "If was easy, everyone would do it." How are you going to do it without this call? What more testimony do ya need!

Awesome calls, first rate. After alot of practice this past fall I was able to call in and take 2 nice gobblers this spring here in Alabama. Hey Doug, Last we talked i had lost my Totty call. I found it under my truck seat. It"s the call I depend on towar the end of season. No one in my area can use it very well, so It,s deadly. I've always used single reed mouth calls to sound like a young hen. The Totty is just that, a young hen. Want leave home without it!
