Long Tom Trumpet Call $75
The newest creation from Eastern Assassin, a louder locater trumpet call that was tested this past fall. On a calm fall day the call could be heard at close to a 1/4 mile away. Although this call is primarily a locator, Doug bored slits in the barrel so by plugging the barrel with your finger the call will then baffle down to about a 1/3 of the volume, 2 calls in one. Great tone very similar to a wing bone in sound, made primarily from cherry or walnut.
These calls are made and sold on a first come only basis. Birds are mostly the birds Doug has taken the previous year, a great sounding call that is a little less fragile then the traditional 3 bone wing bone call, also Doug uses his mouthpiece and marries good grade hardwood to the bone for a good sounding bone call. Easier to use then a traditional bone call, takes less air to run. Place deposit in advance for this call.
Pro Custom Baffled Call $75
Our pro-custom baffled calls that are the best for making those soft perps and pu,s that work so well on hard hunted birds. Call has plenty of volume to reach out several hundred yards but will tone down to a whisper, made from high grade hardwood one at a time. Each call will be signed and dated
The Eastern Assassin Hunter Model is the call Doug first took out on the road to trade shows in the Southeastern United States. These calls are a bit louder and raspy than the Pro-custom baffled call but it can't be beat in the woods. Primarily made from popular wood, each call is still made one at a time and tuned. Each call is signed by Doug. As we have always stated "We will never sell a call that we would not hunt with ourselves". This motto still stands strong today.
